During the First World War, the French soldiers had to face the worst pain they had experienced in their lifetime. They were affected by the biological weapon known as mustard gas produced by Germany. This is a yellow gas. The soldiers who were affected by it had difficulty breathing. Burned. Pus blisters formed all over the skin.πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

So the researchers tried to find a solution to this situation. As a result of that research, they discovered how the effect of mustard gas affects the body. The effect of this gas weakens the function of the bone marrow. Because of this, the production of blood cells in the bone marrow stopped.

With the understanding of this phenomenon, the researchers came up with a new idea to create a cure for cancer. The reason for this was a similar characteristic of cancer cells and bone marrow. Both of these cell types proliferate rapidly, which means they are created rapidly. πŸ€”πŸ€”

If you can stop the function of the bone marrow, you should be able to stop the regeneration of cancer cells. Based on this idea, researchers tried to find a solution to cancer by injecting different properties of mustard gas into cancer patients.😊
